Broken Bow has been awarded the 2017-2018 boys Southwest Conference Cup. The cup was established in 2010 and recognizes overall achievement in athletics and activities. Points are awarded to each conference school for accomplishments in athletic competition and activities such as one act play, speech, and quiz bowl. It marks the first time since the award started that Broken Bow has won either the boys or girls cup. Broken Bow won the boys cup with 57 points followed by Gothenburg with 52.5 points. Gothenburg received the girls cup with 54 points. Broken Bow finished 4th out of the 8 conference schools with 42.5 points.
