The Broken Bow American Legion Seniors baseball team will begin play today at the Class B Area 6 baseball tournament in Holdrege. Bow is the #5 seed in the tournament and will meet the #4 seed Cozad this afternoon at 2pm. Today’s game and all Broken Bow games from the tournament will be broadcast live on KBBN 95.3 FM. The winner will advance to play the top seed Gothenburg on Friday. Gothenburg received a first round bye. The loser will play again on Saturday in the double elimination tournament. The other first round games for today will see the #3 seed Holdrege taking on the #6 seed Minden and McCook, the #2 seed, will play the #7 seed Doniphan/Trumbull.
