Play begins today at the Class B Area 6 American Legion Juniors baseball tournament in McCook. Game 1 today will feature the Broken Bow Juniors against the Gothenburg Melons. The two have met twice already this season with each team winning on their home field. Broken Bow won 10-9 at Paul Brown Field back on June 14th but then dropped a 7-2 decision in Gothenburg on June 26th. Today’s game is scheduled for 2pm and will be broadcast live on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com. Other games today include Kearney County vs. Holdrege at 5pm followed by the top seed and host team McCook taking on Cozad at 8pm.
