Broken Bow Begins District Play by Hosting Valentine

The Broken Bow Indians football team begins C1-7 district play tonight as they host Valentine at Mark Russell Field. Bow is 2-2 this season and will look to build on a 28-8 victory at Chadron last week. Tonight the Indians will renew their rivalry with Valentine. The Badgers move up to Class C1 this year and are also 2-2 this season. The Badgers’ wins have come at home against Mitchell and Chadron while their losses have been to Ogallala and to Winner, SD. Tonight’s game will be broadcast on KCNI 1280 AM and 96.3 FM, kcni1280.com and on the free KCNI “Pure Country” app. Take note that tonight’s game will kickoff at 8pm.
