The Broken Bow girls basketball team collected its 21st win of the season and advanced to a district final for the 4th straight year with a 43-27 win over Gothenburg in the C1-10 sub district championship game Thursday night. The Lady Indians never trailed in the game and were led by MaKinley Tobey who had a team high 10 points.
Anselmo-Merna claimed the D2-7 sub district championship with a 59-47. AM scored 40 points in the second half to come back from a 10 point halftime deficit. AM was led by Jaide Chandler who had a game high 20 points. During the game, Chandler reached 1,000 points for her career. Ansley/Litchfield was led by Katherine Paitz who had a team high 16 points.
Sandhills/Thedford booked a spot in the district finals with a 60-37 win over Mullen at the D2-10 sub district tournament. The Lady Knights were led by Cylee Jameson who had a team high 16 points.
