Broken Bow and Area Teams Begin Volleyball Season

The Broken Bow Lady Indians volleyball team will begin its 2019 season tonight at home as they host the Hershey Panthers at the Indian gym.  Broken Bow is coming off a 2018 season that saw them finish 23-8 overall and return a lot of experience and fire power from last year’s team.  Tonight’s varsity match is scheduled for 7pm and will be broadcast live on KCNI 1280 AM / 96.3 FM and on the web at

Several volleyball teams from the KCNI/KBBN coverage area begin their season today.   Ansley/Litchfield will play their first match under new head coach Jamee Smith who takes over for long time coach Pat Hoblyn this season.  The Spartans will travel to Amherst for a triangular with Amherst and Elm Creek.
