The Broken Bow American Legion Seniors baseball team started its season last night on the road at McCook. Bow dropped the opener 13-7. Bow got off to a good start as Isaac Dodge hit a 2 run homer in the top of the first to give Broken Bow an early lead but McCook quickly answered and forced Broken Bow to play from behind. Riley Peterson hit a 3 run homer in the top of the 6th to bring Bow to within 9-7 but again McCook would answer to make the final score 13-7. The Bow Seniors will play their home opener Friday night at Paul Brown Field against Ogallala. The game will be broadcast live on KBBN 95.3 FM. First pitch is scheduled for 7:30.
