The bracket has been released for the 2018 Area 6 American Legion Juniors baseball tournament which begins Friday in McCook. The Broken Bow Juniors team is seeded fifth and will open play Friday afternoon at 2pm against the #2 seed Gothenburg. The other first round matchups Friday will feature the #3 seed Kearney County vs. the #4 seed Holdrege at 5pm followed by the top seed and host team McCook meeting Cozad at 8pm. If Broken Bow wins their opening round game, they will meet the winner of Kearney County / Holdrege on Saturday. If Broken Bow loses their opening round game, they will drop into the elimination bracket and meet the loser of the McCook / Cozad game on Saturday. All Broken Bow games from the Area 6 Juniors tournament will be broadcast live on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com beginning with Friday’s matchup against Gothenburg.
