Boys basketball district finals began on Saturday. Teams in Classes C1, C2, D1, and D2 came out of their subdistrict tournaments last Thursday and were allowed by the NSAA to play their district final as early as Saturday (2/29) or as late as Tuesday (3/3). Among the district finals that were played on Saturday, was the D2-4 final between Mullen and Exeter-Milligan. It was all Broncos as they rolled to a 68-39 win. Mullen improves to 21-5 and advances to the boys state tournament in Lincoln which begins Thursday, March 12th. Two other D2 district finals were played Saturday. In the D2-3 final played at Minden, Loomis defeated Lawrence-Nelson 59-27 and in the D2-2 district final Falls City Sacred Heart defeated Sioux County 81-27.
