The Broken Bow Spirit White softball team traveled to North Platte over the weekend for a tournament at the Dowhower Complex. Bow won 2 and lost 2. Bow defeated Garden County on Saturday 14-0. Bow jumped out to a 6-0 lead then added 8 more in the 2nd as the game was shortened to 3 innings. The Spirit pitching was equally impressive as Garden County was held without a hit. Bow also picked up a win over the Kearney Krush 8-2. The Spirit used a 6 run 2nd inning to help secure the win. Bow’s losses came to the “Bandits” 5-3 in their first game of the tournament and to the “Assault” 9-1 in their final game of the tournament. The Spirit (White) is now 6-4 on the season.
