The Broken Bow Juniors baseball team fell to Imperial Sunday in the Mid Nebraska League West Division title game. Imperial Chase County jumped out to a 5-1 lead after 4 innings. Broken Bow would get right back in it with a big fifth inning. Bow hit back to back home runs beginning with a 2 run shot by Caden Holm followed by a solo blast by Sawyer Bumgarner to make the score 5-4. Imperial would answer quickly though with 2 runs in the bottom of the fifth and then batted through the order in the 6th scoring 4 runs en route to an 11-6 victory. With the win, Imperial will advance to play for the Mid Nebraska League Title against Shelton/Gibbon on Wednesday. Caden Holm led the Broken Bow offensive attack finishing the day 2 for 4 driving in 3 of Broken Bow’s six runs. The Bow Juniors conclude their season at 11-6 overall.
