Bow Boys Win Thriller to Improve to 4-0 and Lady Indians Dominate to Move to 4-1

The Broken Bow boys basketball team came back from an 8 point deficit in the 4th quarter to pull out a 43-42 victory on the road against previously unbeaten Ainsworth on Friday night. Griffin Wright hit two big 3’s and Cade Chapin added a 3 in the 4th to help lead the comeback. The score was tied 42-42 with 3 seconds left when Broken Bow’s Josh Harvey was fouled and sent to the free throw line for 2 shots. Harvey made the first but missed the second. Jahred Kahnk secured the offensive rebound for Bow as time expired. Bow was led in scoring by Josh Harvey who led all scorers with 18 points and Griffin Wright also finished in double figures with 14 as Broken Bow improves to 4-0.

The Broken Bow girls team jumped out to a 20-7 lead after the first quarter and cruised to a 65-33 win over the Lady Bulldogs. All 14 players who were suited up scored for the Lady Indians. Bow was led by Kya Scott who scored 14 points and Majesta Valasek also finished in double figures with 13. Broken Bow improves to 4-1 on the season.

Broken Bow will host St. Paul for a girls and boys doubleheader Saturday at the Indian gym.
