Bow American Legion Seniors Fall to Ogallala 11-3 and Juniors Lose Heartbreaker 10-9

The Broken Bow American Legion Seniors dropped an 11-3 decision to Ogallala on the road last night. Ogallala got off to a strong start as they jumped out to a 7-0 lead thanks to a 5 run second inning. Bow would battle back to get to within 8-3 as Blake Denson drove in Isaac Dodge in the 4th inning for Bow’s first run followed by Riley Peterson’s 2 run double in the 5th. Ogallala would answer though with 3 runs in their half of the fifth to make the final score 11-3.

It was another thriller between the Bow Juniors and Ogallala Tuesday night. The last time the two teams met Bow came back from a 6 run deficit and won 10-9 in extra innings. This time Bow would come from behind again to force extra innings but it would be Ogallala who would come out on top this time. The Bow Juniors trailed 9-6 but came back with 3 unanswered runs to tie the game at 9 and force extra innings. In the 8th, Bow was held scoreless in their half of the inning and Ogallala would score a run in the bottom of the inning for the walk off win 10-9.
