The Nebraska Coaches Association hosted its girls and boys all star basketball games Monday night at Lincoln North Star High School. The Blue team defeated the Red team 84-73 in the girls all star game. The Blue team was led by Lacey Sprackel of Crofton who finished with a game 23 points. Future Husker Allison Weidner chipped in 13 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for the Blue team. The Red team was coached by Broken Bow girls head basketball coach Kelly Cooksley and included Kali Staples of Broken Bow and Samantha Moore of Mullen. Moore, the UNK commit, led the Red team in scoring with 19 points including three – 3 pointers and also pulled down a team high 8 rebounds.
The Red team won the boys all star game defeating the Blue team 103-78. Colton Uhling of Elkhorn led the way for the Red team with a game high 17 points.
