Competition for the winter sports season begins today around the area. Broken Bow will host Arcadia/Loup City for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader today at the Indian gym. The girls varsity game is scheduled to tip off at 6 p.m. with the boys game to follow. Tonight’s games will be broadcast live on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com.

The Broken Bow and Arcadia/Loup City wrestling teams begin their season tonight as Broken Bow will host Arcadia/Loup City and Wood River for a triangular this evening. The meet will be held at the middle school auditorium scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
Ansley/Litchfield is scheduled to begin its wrestling season tonight as well when they travel to Axtell for duals with Axtell, Elm Creek, and Pleasanton.
