The Broken Bow Lady Indians volleyball team improved to 5-3 Thursday night as they handed Lexington just its second defeat of the season winning 3 sets to 1. Broken Bow held on to win set one 25-23 and then dominated the second set winning 25-10. Lexington fought back to win the third 26-24 but Bow would close it out 25-21 in the fourth. Kya Scott had 21 kills to lead the Broken Bow attack. Kali Staples finished with 14 kills and Emma Schall had 10 kills and 8 blocks. Kailyn Scott was spot on through the match setting up hitters as she finished with 55 assists which broke the school match record for assists in a game which was previously held by Kirsten Staab who had 54 in 2017. Broken Bow will compete at the Seward tournament on Saturday.
