Spalding Academy held on to edge SEM in six man football action Thursday night. After trailing 30-16 at half, SEM fought back to tie the game at 30. Spalding Academy regained the lead in the fourth quarter 38-30. SEM had a chance to tie with less than 2 minutes left in regulation but were held on fourth down and goal. Noah Eggleston ran for a touchdown and finished 11 of 23 passing for 177 yards and 2 touchdowns. Kellen Eggleston finished with 94 yards rushing on 13 carries and had two touchdown receptions. SEM falls to 1-2 on the season while Spalding Academy improves to 2-1.
