Area Cowboys and Cowgirls Shine Again at Nebraska High School Rodeo Performances Over the Weekend

The Nebraska High School Rodeo Association made stops in Bloomfield and O’Neill this past weekend. Some of the area highlights included Brody McAbee of Ansley winning the Saddle Bronc competition on Saturday in Bloomfield. McAbee’s winning score was a 69. Cauy Pokorny of Stapleton took the title in the steer wrestling Saturday with a winning time of 4.21 seconds. On Sunday in O’Neill, Ashley Odenbach of Taylor posted the top time in the barrel racing at 17.693 seconds. Evan Hewett of Dunning was the steer wrestling champion Sunday with a winning time of 4.67 seconds.
