Area Cowboys and Cowgirls Give Strong Performances at Nebraska HS Rodeos in Lexington

Nebraska High School rodeo competitors visited Lexington for the Dawson County High School Rodeo on Saturday and Sunday.  Among the area highlights on Saturday, Taci Flinn of Arcadia was the champion in the barrels with a winning time of 16.124 seconds.  Cooper Bass of Brewster won the boys cutting on Saturday with a winning score of 73.  Coy Johnston of Stapleton was the champion in the tie down roping on Saturday.  His winning time was 12.47 seconds.  On Sunday, Dawson Doggett of Stapleton posted the winning time in the steer wrestling at 4.63 seconds.
