The Broken Bow Elks Lodge and Broken Bow were well represented by our 2019-2020 Elks Hoop Shooters. Each participant was required to shoot 25 baskets in competition Sunday January 5, 2020 held at the Kearney Nebraska YMCA.
Pictured in front are left to right: Kyan Tobey-2nd place in Boys 10-11, Kanon Tobey-2nd place in boys 8-9, Baylee Clark-2nd place in Girls 8-9, McKenna Jacobsen 1st place in Girls 10-11, and Jayden Gaffney 2nd place in Girls 12-13. In the back row are Stan and Nancy Sedlacek who help coordinate the local Hoop Shoot, and assisted with the District Shoot in Kearney. McKenna will advance to the State Shoot in Hastings on February 1, 2020. Second place winners will also shoot in Hastings if the 1st place winners are unable to attend the Hastings Hoop Shoot.
