Boys subdistrict finals in classes C1, C2, D1, and D2 take place tonight around the state.
Broken Bow will face O’Neill in the C1-10 final tonight at Burwell. Broken Bow advanced with a 44-34 win over Ord on Tuesday night. The top seed O’Neill advanced by holding off Valentine 57-48. The winner will move on to the district finals on Saturday. Tonight’s game will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM and on line at kcni1280.com. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
It will be Anselmo-Merna vs Burwell for the D1-10 subdistrict title at the Indian gym in Broken Bow tonight. Burwell knocked off the top seed Ansley/Litchfield in double overtime on Tuesday 75-72 while the Coyotes advanced with an impressive 60-31 win over the #2 seed South Loup. Tonight’s game is scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and on line at kbbn.com
The Mullen Broncos will also compete for the right to advance to the district finals tonight. Mullen will face Wallace tonight in the D2-10 subdistrict final at North Platte St. Pat’s. The Broncos edged Medicine Valley 45-44 on Tuesday while Wallace got by Brady 56-38.
