Arcadia Loup City Girls Win Gibbon Track Invite

Arcadia/Loup City claimed the girls team title at the Giboon Track Invite on Thursday. The Lady Rebels collected 120 points to win the meet. ALC was led by Capri Dethlefs who had a huge day. Dethlefs took gold in the 100 (13.35), the 200 (27.35), and the 400 (1:07.14). She would also team with Ashley Dearmont, Creighton Harrington, and McKenna Cruikshank to win the girls 4×400 relay in a winning time of 4:35.55. Other highlights for the Lady Rebels included Callie Francisco winning the the 800 (2:43.83) and Nadia Van Slyke placed first in the girls shot put (35′ 9.25″).

St. Paul won the boys team championship with 129 points. Arcadia/Loup City finished 5th in the final boys standings. ALC’s Jared Larchick claimed two individual gold medals winning the shot put (46′ 10.25″) and the discus (138′ 2″).
