Ansley/Litchfield vs South Loup Girls and Boys Basketball on KBBN

South Loup will host Ansley/Litchfield tonight for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader. The games were to be played back on January 17th but were postponed due to illness. In the girls’ matchup, South Loup (13-4) will try to bounce back after falling to Mullen last weekend in the girls championship game of the MNAC tournament and Ansley/Litchfield (11-6) will try to stop a 3 game losing streak. In the boys game, it will be a rematch of a 2nd round matchup in the MNAC tournament which was won by South Loup 58-52. The Bobcats have won 12 in a row and are 14-1 while the Spartans have lost only once in their last 13 games and that was to South Loup. Tonight’s games will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com beginning with the girls’ matchup scheduled to tip off at 6pm.

The Broken Bow girls and boys basketball teams will also be back in action tonight as they travel back to Lexington. Both teams played there Friday and Saturday in the Southwest Conference tournament but tonight they will be taking on the Minutemaids and Minutemen. The Broken Bow girls, fresh off their SWC tournament title, will meet a Lexington girls squad who is 5-15 this season. In the boys game, the Indians are now 13-5 on the season and will take on a Lexington squad who is 10-8.
