Ansley/Litchfield and SEM Compete at FKC Track Championships

Ansley/Litchfield and SEM were among the teams that competed at the Fort Kearny Conference track and field championships on Thursday.  Axtell won both the boys and girls team championships.

Among the area highlights, SEM’s Josie Smith was a double gold medal winner claiming the conference title in the girls 3200 meters in a winning time of 13:15.55 and won the girls mile in a time of 6:07.30.  Taryn Arbuthnot of SEM had four top four finishes placing 4th in the girls 100, runner up in the 400, 2nd in the high jump, and third in the girls long jump.  Noah Eggleston of SEM was runner up in the boys 100, was third in the 200 and placed 4th in the long jump.  SEM’s Cohen Rohde had runner up finishes in the both the boys shot put and discus and was fifth in the high jump.

The Ansley/Litchfield boys were led in part by Ryan Bailey who was runner up in the 300 meter hurdles, fifth in the 110 meter high hurdles, and placed third in the boys high jump.  The Ansley/Litchfield girls were led in part by Klarissa Dowdy who took home three medals finishing 3rd in the 300 meter hurdles, 5th in the 100 meter hurdles, and was 5th in the girls long jump.

Kellen Eggleston 5th in the boys long jump
Rilyn Schledewitz 4th in the girls mile and 5th in the 3200

Owen Cunningham 4th in the boys 400
Isaac O’Brien 3rd in the boys 800
Mike Smith 4th in the boys 110 hurdles and 4th in the 300 hurdles
Caydence Feldman 6th in the girls 3200
Ava Paitz 6th in the girls 300 meter hurdles
Kerri Ryan tied for 4th in the girls high jump
