In matches broadcast on KBBN radio, Anselmo-Merna went 2-0 at the volleyball triangular they hosted with Twin Loup and Ansley/Litchfield. It was a highly competitive night of volleyball action with all three matches going the distance. In match one, Anselmo-Merna defeated Twin Loup 2 sets to 1. AM won the first set 25-21, Twin Loup came back to win the 2nd set 25-23 but AM would prevail in the third 25-17. In match two, Twin Loup would battle back outlasting Ansley/Litchfield and winning 2 sets to 1. The Lady Spartans claimed the opening set of the match 25-18 but Twin Loup was able to fight back to take set 2 25-17 and win in the third 25-17. The final match also went the distance as Anselmo-Merna and Ansley/Litchfield went back and forth. AM took set 1 25-23 but Ansley/Litchfield responded in kind by taking set 2 25-23. In the third, AM took control early and closed out the match winning 25-9. AM improves to 4-1 on the season. Twin Loup is now 2-1 while Ansley/Litchfield drops to 0-4.
Majesta Valasek had 21 kills as Broken Bow improved to 2-0 this season defeating Gothenburg 26-24, 27-25, 25-14
