Anselmo-Merna Falls in D1-3 District Final to Laurel Concord Coleridge

The Anselmo-Merna boys basketball team saw its season come to an end Tuesday night as they fell to Laurel Concord Coleridge at the D1-3 district final at Boone Central High School. A-M hung tough early but LCC would outscore A-M 16-6 in the 2nd quarter to take control of the game en route to a 63-37 victory. The story of the game was LCC’s Noah Schutte who scored a game high 37 points and in so doing joined an elite group of Nebraska players to surpass 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds for a career. Anselmo-Merna was led by Seth Miller who had a team high 17 points. The Coyotes conclude the season at 15-8.
