The Nebraska Schools Activities Association has announced additional qualifiers for the state track and field championships in Class D running events. Several area athletes have qualified based on their time in districts. Here is a list of area competitors who have qualified for state based on time. On the girls side, Victoria Griffith of Anselmo-Merna in the 200 ; Carlie Collier of Sandhills/Thedford in the 400 ; Johannah Christie of Sandhills/Thedford in the 800 ; Brooke McCully of Mullen in the 1600 ; and Taylor Stark of Ansley/Litchfield in the 300 meter hurdles. Ansley/Litchfield also qualified in the girls 4×100 and 4×400 meter relays.
On the boys side, Collin Arehart of Ansley/Litchfield has qualified in the 800 meter run. Ansley/Litchfield has qualified in the boys 4×100 meter relay and the Mullen 4×800 and 4×400 relay teams have also qualified.
