COLUMBUS - A car was totaled and a light pole was heavily damaged on the south side of Lost Creek Parkway.
Columbus Police say in a report that a 30-year-old woman was heading eastbound on Lost Creek Parkway, when she attempted to stop at a stoplight. The driver told police that due to slick conditions, she slid off the road to the south and hit a light pole head-on, says the report.
The woman’s 1997 Honda Sedan was totaled in the accident, and the light pole suffered $1,500 in damage, according to police.
The accident occurred at 10:05 am on Monday, says CPD. The driver was reportedly not injured.
