COLUMBUS – One woman was injured after a two vehicle collision on 11th Street on Wednesday.
Accident reports say a 47-year-old man was driving a 2004 Jeep westbound on 11th Street, when it collided with a 2005 GMC Envoy, that was being backed out of a street parking spot near the 23rd Avenue intersection, by a 52-year-old man. The passenger of the Jeep, 42-year-old woman, had her hand out the window at the time of the collision, and the side mirror of the vehicle caused the passenger to suffer a large laceration, says the accident report.
The passenger was treated at the Columbus Community Hospital.
The accident occurred at 7:20 p.m., and the Jeep suffered $6,000 in damage, while the GMC suffered $2,000 in damage, says the report.
No citations were given out, according to the report.
