Winter storm warnings and advisories remain in effect for a large portion of western and north central Nebraska.
Snow intensities will begin to increase this evening (Thursday) across the Nebraska
Panhandle. This activity will then track east into the central Sandhills and
southwestern Nebraska overnight. Snow accumulations will range from 3 to
5 inches in the advisory with 4 to 8 inches (locally higher amounts possible)
in the warning area. The main impacts from this system will occur tonight
into the early morning hours Friday. By midday Friday, snow will continue,
however additional accumulations should be on grassy surfaces Friday
