Wind Advisory in Effect Monday for Eastern Nebraska

COLUMBUS - Eastern Nebraska is in a Wind Advisory throughout the day on Monday. A majority of the counties in the eastern portion of the state are in a wind advisory from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Wind will be southbound ranging from 25 to 35 miles per hour,  with gusts up to 50 miles per hour, says the NWS. There is an extreme fire danger and areas could see blowing dust, says the NWS. Travel for high profile or lightweight vehicles could be difficult reports the NWS. See the effected counties below.
