Weather Expert: ‘Bottom Drops Out’ Wednesday Night

Valley, NE.—After one more day of near-spring like weather, the first major snowfall of 2018 is set to hit Nebraska. Brian Smith of the National Weather Service office in Valley (see video above) tells News Channel Nebraska that tomorrow (Wednesday night) the "bottom drops out." Smith says some areas—most likely north of Omaha—will see half a foot of snow with white-out conditions on several major highways due to winds gusting up to 45 mph.
