DIXON - A third suspect has been taken into custody in an ongoing burglary and weapons investigation in Stanton County.
Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says 26-year old Benny Giffrow of Wayne was arrested early Saturday morning in Dixon. Giffrow was wanted on numerous burglary and weapons charges related to a string of break-ins at a Stanton County residence earlier this year. He's currently being held at the Pierce County Jail.
Sheriff Unger has a husband-and-wife duo, 38-year old Jacob Mahnke and 28-year old Kayla Simmons, are already in jail related to the investigation. Unger says investigators have recovered about $20,000 worth of stolen property, including numerous firearms and a four-wheeler.
A fourth suspect, 22-year old Sawyer Giffrow, is still at large.
