Video shows woman being arrested by ICE agents in O’Neill

O'NEILL - An operation by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) saw 14 business owners and managers and 130 workers arrested Wednesday across northern Nebraska and southern Minnesota. Officials say these businesses knowingly hired - and mistreated - immigrants who were in the country illegally. A video (above) shows a woman outside the Holt County Courthouse in O'Neill, Neb. being cuffed by Nebraska State Patrol troopers and ICE agents. She was taken away from the scene in a federal vehicle with Iowa plates. Homeland Security Investigations special agent Tracy Cormier described the operation as one of the largest in its 15-year history. Cormier says the focus of the operation was on businesses that knowingly offered for hire immigrants in the country illegally to other businesses, such as farms, meat processors, grain companies and restaurants.
