COLUMBUS - A video sent to NCN by Ben Beller, shows a fire in downtown Columbus, after lightning struck a gas line.
Blackhills Energy crews responded to the incident just after 7:30 a.m. on Thursday at the corner of 10th Street and 21st Avenue, said a press release. Crews were on location for a majority of the day, repairing the damaged line.
The video submitted by Ben Beller shows a flame rising up from the ground, just moments after the bolt struck ground.
