Vehicle Hits Fire Truck While Responding to Injury Accident

SCHUYLER - The Schuyler Fire Department was responding to a morning injury accident, when their fire truck was hit by another vehicle. The Schuyler Fire Department posted a picture on Facebook showing some minor damage to the rear bumper of their fire truck. SFD says in that post that they were responding to an injury accident near the Highway 30 Richland curve when the icy roads caused a vehicle to slide into the rear of their fire truck. SFD say no injuries were caused by the vehicle hitting the fire truck, but did take the chance to ask people to slow down and be extremely cautious when driving in slick, icy conditions.
