NORFOLK --- The Stanton County Sheriff's office released the dash cam video of a deputy who was dragged from a car during a traffic stop near Norfolk. Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says Jennings was pulled over for expired plates east of Norfolk when the deputy reported smelling marijuana and saw a gun in the car. At that point, Jennings took off in his car...dragging the deputy and throwing him onto the highway as Jennings sped away. Authorities chased him at speeds that reached almost 100 miles per hour, and they believe he threw his gun out the window during the chase. Jennings was eventually stopped and arrested north of Stanton on numerous felony charges. The deputy was treated and released from Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.
