Two-Vehicle Accident Injures One

NORFOLK - At least two people are recovering from a Friday morning accident in Norfolk. Rescue officials were sent to the intersection of Fourth Street and Madison Avenue in downtown Norfolk just after 9 a.m. Friday. Two cars had collided and were blocking the intersection. At least one person was transported to the hospital from the scene. It's unclear how severe their injuries were. The driver of the other vehicle was not transported. The accident shut down both lanes of traffic for a block north of the accident scene.
