COLUMBUS - Two people were injured after their vehicle hit a semi, while merging lanes.
Police reports say a car was westbound on Lost Creek Parkway, in the outside lane, when the rear over the vehicle hit a semi that was slightly behind them in the inside lane.
The car slid across the lane and came to rest in the median, says police reports.
Police report one person was transported to the hospital by Columbus Fire and Rescue, and another was injured but was not hospitalized. The extent of the injuries are unknown.
The car was totaled and the semi suffered minor damage, says reports. The accident occurred Monday evening at 4:47 p.m., say police.
