Two Felony Cases Heard in County Court

CUSTER COUNTY—Due to the New Year’s holiday, Custer County Court was held on Wednesday, January 3 this week at the Judicial Center in Broken Bow. According to County Attorney Steve Bowers, two defendants were appointed attorneys for felony cases. Jill L. Janseen, 54 of Broken Bow made her first appearance for alleged theft over $5,000.

Kearney resident Carl D. Royle, 65, was also appointed an attorney and appeared for an alleged DUI sixth offense and Driving Under Suspension.
