Two Columbus Men Accused of Threatening to Kill, Assaulting Co-Worker in Schuyler

SCHUYLER, Neb. - Two Columbus men are being charged with terroristic threats after police say they threatened to kill a co-worker in Schuyler. 30-year-old Yuniel Palmer and his nephew 25-year-old Dismell Palmer are charged with terroristic threats and misdemeanor assault in Colfax County. Records say the two men got into a tussle in the lunch room of a Schuyler business in late January, and while they were being escorted to a supervisor's office, they both began striking a different co-worker. Documents say the victim was able to block the punches and the altercation was quickly broken up. The victim told police that both men said in Spanish that they were going to "kill me, hit me, and screw me up," according to documents. Records say a supervisor confirmed the victim's story about the fight, but could not understand the verbal exchange because he didn't speak Spanish. The two men will be in court on March 20th.
