Two four-wheelers were taken from this trailer at a residence on Sandy Point Drive in Columbus.
COLUMBUS, Neb. - Two four-wheelers were taken from the front yard of a Columbus residence over the weekend. Columbus man Rick Hurner says that a 2004 yellow Honda four-wheeler and 2007 green Honda four-wheeler were taken from his property on Sandy Point Dr. on Friday night to early Saturday morning, sometime between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. The ATV's were in his front yard on a trailer after being recently used by Hurner's kids. Hurner says the thieves put down the tailgate and rolled the four-wheelers into their own vehicle, leaving muddy tracks on the road. He estimates the two four-wheelers are valued at $5,000-6,000 and he is offering a $500 reward to anybody that helps locate the two ATV's. This is one of several instances of four-wheelers being stolen in Columbus over the past few weeks.
