Twin Loup Ready for Quarterfinal Matchup with Blue Hill

Twin Loup will travel to Blue Hill today for a state football quarterfinal in Class D2.  The Wolves have been impressive in their playoff run so far with wins over Pleasanton (55-8) and Paxton (51-6).  Blue Hill’s road to the quarterfinals has included wins against Central Valley (60-18) and North Central (49-20).  These two met in last year’s quarterfinals with Twin Loup winning a thriller 29-27.  Tonight’s game sets up to be another exciting game.  KCNI/KBBN radio will partner with News Channel Nebraska for a special television broadcast of tonight’s game.   The game can be accessed via the web at sandhillsexpress.com by clicking on the NCN Sports Now link.  NCN has also partnered with several cable companies across Nebraska including Nebraska Central Telephone and Great Plains Communications.  Check your local listings for channel and availability in your area.  The winner of tonight’s game will advance to the D2 semifinals and play the winner of Mullen vs. Lawrence-Nelson.  Earlier this week, Twin Loup football coach Mike Kozeal visited with KBBN Sports Director Brent Apperson about tonight’s game.
