NORTH PLATTE - The Nebraska Department of Transportation is currently working on repairs to the existing traffic signals at the intersection of US-83 (Jeffers St.) and Leota St. in North Platte. This work consists or replacing the east and west bound signals due to damage.
Weather permitting, work impacting traffic is anticipated to begin Monday, September 11 at 8 p.m. and to be completed by 7 a.m. Tuesday, September 12. The intersection will remain open to traffic at all times, however some lanes may be closed during the night of work.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously through construction zones and to always buckle up.
