Tornado Touches Down South of Central City

CENTRAL CITY - Officials have issued a Tornado Warning south of Central City for the towns of Overland, Hordville, and Marquette. Polk is outside of the warning, but is in the future path of the storms direction, according to the National Weather Service. An observed tornado and golf ball sized hail are the threats in the area says the NWS. The Warning is in effect until 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
