Tilden Man Arrested After Running Into Cop Car; Fleeing From Scene

NORFOLK - A northeast Nebraska man faces multiple charges after a chase in Madison County. Norfolk Police Captain Don Miller says 29-year old Casey Staub of Tilden was arrested Friday evening. Captain Miller says police were called out to a reckless driver who reportedly ran a red light and almost caused an accident. Police caught up with the driver, identified as Staub, in a nearby parking lot. Officers say when they asked Staub if he had been drinking, he backed his car into the police cruiser and fled. Staub was eventually tracked down west of Norfolk with the help of Battle Creek Police. He faces seven different charges, including third offense D-U-I, criminal mischief and willful reckless driving.
