Three Get Prison Terms For Weapons Convictions in Stanton County

STANTON - Three Wayne residents are all headed to prison as part of an investigation into stolen items last year. Fifty-year old Jacob Mahnke and 22-year old Sawyer Giffrow were each sentenced to prison terms of five to nine years in prison in Stanton County District Court on Monday. The two were convicted of felony weapons charges related to an investigation last year where firearms and other property were taken from a residence in rural Pilger. Also sentenced was 26-year old Benton Giffrow, who received three to six years in prison for a related weapon conviction.
