In case you needed another temptation this January, the Girl Scouts have it: a new (gluten free!) cookie flavor — caramel chocolate chip.
The new cookies have caramel, semisweet chocolate chips and sea salt in a chewy, gluten-free cookie. A package will run you $5. The rest of the Girl Scout lineup includes Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, Girl Scout S’mores, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwich, Shortbread, Thanks-a-Lot and Lemonades, all of which are a buck cheaper at $4 a package.
Cookies will be on sale through March 10. The money made from cookie sales stays in Nebraska and benefits Girl Scout camping, community projects and other activities.
