Thedford Open Art and Photo Show

THEDFORD–The annual open art and photo show at the Thedford Gallery had 69 entries from six counties; six of those were from youth ages 12 and under.

“This is two shows in one, photos are judged separately from the art. An overall best of show is selected from both categories,” stated Dawn Bryant, president of the Thedford Art Guild that hosts the show. “It is our major fundraiser for our gallery and could not be possible without the support of our great sponsors – from Thedford – Sandhill Oil, Consolidated Telephone, Security 1st Bank, Ewoldt’s Grocery, Neal Lumber and from Purdum – Harsh Mercantile and Western Nebraska Bank.”

The show unlike most fair shows which have art on display a few days, was up the whole month of July.
