Thedford East Project to being April 16

THEDFORD–Weather permitting, work will begin April 16 on N-2 and US-83, from Thedford south for 1.67 miles and east for 10.7 miles.

According to the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT), the project will include concrete repair, bridge deck surfacing and sealing on US-83 beginning at the US-83 and N-2 junction, extending south for 1.67 miles. Asphalt surfacing, seeding, and drainage structure work on N-2 will begin at the US-83 and N-2 junction, extending east 10.7 miles from Reference Post 210.77 to Reference Post 221.47.

The asphalt and concrete repair work will be performed under daytime lane closures using barrels, cones, and flaggers. Bridgework will be performed under daytime and nighttime lane closures using barrels, cones, and temporary traffic signals. The project is anticipated to be completed by fall 2018.
